Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that our work takes place on the traditional lands of Indigenous Peoples across what we now called Canada. These lands have been cared for since time immemorial by First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. We recognize that many of these lands were unjustly taken through colonization, broken treaties, and policies of assimilation, the impacts of which are still felt by Indigenous communities today.
As we carry out our work, we commit to approaching accessibility and inclusion with humility and responsibility. We recognize our responsibility in contributing to spaces where diverse ways of learning, creating, and participating are respected and supported.
